This Cento-based Company, among the world's leading companies for the production of pasta equipment, was founded in 1937 by Augusto Fava, who designed and patented the first machines capable of drying the product in continuous, making way for the introduction of automation in the pasta-making industry.
Research and innovation, led to the development of high-temperature technology in 1970 under the guidance of Augusto's son Enrico, the new head of the company. These ideals continue even now to play a fundamental role in the company's strategy for satisfying its customers' demands in a constantly evolving market.
Industrial mentality, passion for work and love of family have been the driving forces for three generations, which have accompanied the Cento-based company in reaching important goals.
It is in 1995, at a time when the company’s technology and business activities were rapidly evolving, that Fava acquires 50% of Storci, located in Collecchio, specialized manufacturers in the press extrusion field. This led to a very synergetic partnership and to a new range of machines, namely the largest and most innovative process lines. This was the result of Anzio Storci’s expertise combined with that of Enrico Fava’s in an on-going exchange of know-how, experience and understanding. Within a very short period of time, the highest-capacity lines ever built gained the trust of all the most important pasta factories in the industry.

Now it is Enrico’s son, Luigi, who is continuing the journey of growth and innovation. He has been leading the company for years with passion and dedication. The new technologies, intuitions and patents are countless and have made Fava SpA a solid reference for the entire industry.
2023 led to the merger by incorporation with Storci SpA, giving life to the Fava Storci brand and to a comprehensive reality in terms of size, technologies and services.
The merger was embraced with enthusiasm, because it strengthens a long history of partnership and success, by Luigi Fava together with Michele and Simone Storci. Their combination of roles, skills and experience leads to a very well balanced and constructive leadership.
Now the process line range is complete with small-capacity lines for artisanal pasta factories, automatic high-capacity industrial dry pasta lines, fresh pasta lines, small and large couscous lines, discontinuous dry pasta lines, ready meals, instant pasta and gluten-free pasta lines.
