During this initiative, at the Escola Industrial Dias Branco, we carried out a general technical and technological training on raw materials, pasta and FAVA production technologies, namely: 

• We discussed lifetime Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Fava solutions to minimize it.
• We transferred know-how and methods for raw materials and finished products qualitative evaluation.
• We transferred know-how on pasta production processes: dough formation and drying.
• We described recent technical and technological innovations applied to our latest pasta lines called GPL 180 and TCM 100 for long and short cut pasta respectively.
• We described and technically explained the value and life cycle services available in order to improve overall plant efficiency and to develop new products with raw materials, including unconventional ones, and/or new shapes.
• We transferred principles of maintenance engineering and what variations Fava can provide today to improve plant efficiency: spare parts portal, preventive maintenance plans, on-site and remote assistance and preventive maintenance packages based on IOT technologies.
• We transferred technical and management know-how to minimize energy consumption for both the pasta factory and the production line.
• We provided an overview of gluten-free raw materials and our relevant pasta-making technologies.
